‘Gossip Girl’: Jordan Alexander joins HBO Max reboot

EXCLUSIVE: Canadian singer and actress Jordan Alexander has been selected as one of the lead actors in the reboot of HBO’s Max Gossip Girl.

Production of the 10-episode series, through Joshua Safran, Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage’s Fake Empire, Alloy Entertainment, Warner Bros TV and CBS Television Studios, is delayed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Filming is expected to begin this fall when COVID situations allow.

Like the original series, the new version of Gossip Girl, written through Safran, is based on the eBook through Cecily von Ziegesar. Eight years after the original darkened, a new generation of new York personal school teenagers is subjected to gossip Girl’s social surveillance. The Prestige series will talk about how social media, and the New York landscape itself, have replaced in the following years.

Details have been published about the character of Alexander, one of the women at the school.
