‘Gully Boy’ to be screened at Busan International Film Festival

Director Zoya Akhtar’s acclaimed ArrayGully Boy will be screened at the prestigious Busan Film Festival in South Korea in October this year.

The film invited to a screening in the Request Movie Screening category on general demand.

According to the initial plan of the International Film Festival, the screening is expected to take place in October 2020, however, due to the existing pandemic, it is subject to change.

Earlier this year, ‘Gully Boy’ won the NETPAC Award for Best Asian Film at the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFAN) in South Korea.

Director Akhtar was also nominated as India’s official access to the 92nd Academy Awards.

The film also won the Filmfare Awards this year by winning all the primaries of the prestigious award-winning body.

The tale of the tells the story of Indian underground hip-hop artists. In addition to Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, stars Siddhant Chaturvedi, Kalki Koechlin and Vijay Raaz in key roles.
