Harvey Weinstein’s extradition hearing, which would allow Los Angeles prosecutors to advance in his opposite case to the convicted former tycoon and rapist, was postponed in December.

The hearing scheduled to take place on Friday, August 14 on Skype before a trial in Buffalo, New York, and postponed until December 11.

Weinstein is at Thende Correctional Center in New York State for a 23-year sentence after being convicted in March of third-degree rape and first-degree sexual assault.

A spokesman for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office said they agreed with the defense to delay extradition for 120 days due to pandemic issues.

Los Angeles prosecutors accused the disgraced former Hollywood titan of alleged incidents of rape and sexual assault.

In return to Friday morning, Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn said that for Los Angeles prosecutors to take Weinstein to Los Angeles, they had to point out documents at wende’s facility, which would then pass them to the Erié. DA County Office to schedule a hearing.

At the December 11 hearing, Weinstein will be asked if he agrees to go to Los Angeles. If Weinstein says no, a hearing will be scheduled in which he will be guilty of proving why he deserves not to be extradited.

Flynn said Weinstein can also appeal to New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo to send him to Los Angeles for any reason.
