Harvey Weinstein’s extradition hearing, which would allow Los Angeles prosecutors to advance in his opposite case to the convicted former tycoon and rapist, was postponed in December.
The hearing scheduled to take place on Friday, August 14 on Skype before a trial in Buffalo, New York, and postponed until December 11.
Weinstein is at Thende Correctional Center in New York State for a 23-year sentence after being convicted in March of third-degree rape and first-degree sexual assault.
A spokesman for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office said they agreed with the defense to delay extradition for 120 days due to pandemic issues.
