“Let everyone speak”
HBO Max has featured a luxurious announcement featuring a number of new and comeback titles, adding the first photographs of Ridley Scott’s “Raised through Wolves” and Steven Soderbergh’s “Let Them All Talk”, starring Meryl Streep.
Scott’s “Raised through Wolves” has been eagerly awaited for months. The series focuses on two androids who will have to raise young humans on a mysterious planet and, brief photographs in the new HBO Max video do not provide much more detail about the plot, the excerpts provoke many visually stunning landscapes and a pretty scary take of a bloodied android walking in a hail of bullets.
As for “Let Them All Talk”, run through Streep, you will concentrate on a celebrity who embarks on a self-discovery adventure with old friends. The film will also star Dianne Wiest, Candice Bergen, Gemma Chan and Lucas Hedges.
Other HBO Max originals featured in the video come with “The Flight Attendant” directed through Kaley Cuoco; feature film “An American Pickle”; Amy Schumer from the Docu series “Waiting for Amy”; foreign comedy “Frayed”; new seasons of “Search Party” and “Doom Patrol”; “Close Enough”, “Adventure Time: Distant Lands-BMO”, “Summer Camp Island” and “Infinity Train”. The long-awaited meeting of “Friends” without name was also mentioned, however, the release dates of this and other upcoming HBO Max projects are still unknown. The “Friends” assembly was originally scheduled to perform along with HBO Max when the streaming service was introduced in May before being rejected due to the ongoing pandemic.
HBO Max was featured on May 27 with several originals, but none of them have generated as many favorable titles or reviews as “The Mandalorian,” the day of Disney’s release, which it created last year. That said, HBO Max owns a wealth of popular library content, adds the entire HBO catalog, and runs on a variety of other originals that don’t appear in the new HBO Max presentation.
“We are revered by paintings with some of the most productive artistic storytellers in the industry and we are proud to offer them a platform to share their original voices,” Robert Greenblatt, president of WarnerMedia Entertainment, said in a statement. “Consumers will be impressed by the intensity and breadth of exclusive and varied stories on HBO and HBO Max, such as the return of favorites ‘His Dark Materials’ and ‘Search Party’, or new stories like ‘An American Pickle’ and ‘Lovecraft Country’. Our whiteboard has something for everyone and we are happy to give enthusiasts even more fun.”
