A methological good fortune last year, the Qing Yu Nian dress series, also known as Joy of Life, is one of the biggest winners of the 26th Shanghai Television Festival that has just ended, winning two Magnolia Awards, the honor of the event.

Adapted from the popular online novelist Mao Ni of the same title, the drama presented through Tencent Pictures tells the story of a young hero with a mysterious beyond in an imaginary ancient China.
The drama has garned over thirteen billion reviews on its tencent Video and iQiyi broadcast sites. Other tracks of its popularity come with 8 out of 10 numbers on the country’s top popular critic website, Douban, and the 12 billion clicks on similar topics on Twitter, Sina Weibo.
More than 800 television productions from 48 countries and regions were presented to the festival, 60 of which were shortlisted for the Magnolia Awards.
