Alcock beat out several rising stars to land the coveted role, adding the Winchesters’ Meg Donnelly (who had previously played the character of Supergirl in several animated projects) and Coda’s Emilia Jones.
Born and raised in Sydney, Australia, Alcock was first introduced to American audiences as the young Rhaenyra Targaryen in HBO’s Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon, which premiered in 2022. She only appeared in the first six episodes, though, with Emma D’Arcy taking over the role of Rhaenyra after a time jump. Season 2 of House of the Dragon is slated to debut on HBO this summer.
