IDS to integrate the IMX541 CMOS sensor into the uEye SE circle of camera relatives to deliver exceptional symbol quality

IDS integrates the High-Resolution, High-Performance IMX541 Sensor of the Pregius S series into uEye SE flexible cameras.

Thanks to its compact 1.1″ size, the 20.35MP CMOS sensor is compatible with C-mount lenses. Industrial cameras have a convenient USB3 Vision interface, offer 20 ips and will be available from September as map-level or steel case models.

Pregius S, the fourth generation of incredibly rugged CMOS symbol sensors from Sony, makes the BSI (“Back Side Illuminated”) generation available for the first time on global shutter sensors. The benefits are smaller pixels (only 2.74 m, allowing for particularly higher pixel density), higher resolution, and advanced quantum power and sensitivity.

The new camera models offer exceptional symbol quality that leaves nothing to be desired

The new camera models will offer exceptional symbol quality that leaves nothing to be desired, even in non-easy commercial vision programs such as surface inspections, detailed symbol evaluation in medical generation, or use in the traffic industry. Anyone who likes high-resolution symbols, for example, tripping over the smallest hardware defects will hardly forget about those sensors in the future.

Therefore, compact commercial cameras are also a suitable choice for cameras with similar high-resolution but large-format sensors, for which F-mount lenses are required. With uEye SE models, C-mount lenses can be used, which means great savings.

Thanks to the USB3 Vision interface, the cameras also fit inflexible viewing criteria and can be used comfortably with IDS Peak, for example. The Loose SDK features an easy-to-use programming interface developed through IDS. Users no longer want to paint directly with GenTL and GenAPI. Convenience categories help reduce scheduling effort and minimize potential error resources.
