Jeffrey Wright admitted that like the audience who saw the trailer for “The Batman,” he also recognized Colin Farrell on the film’s set when the actor became his character, The Penguin.
Farrell’s gaze raged when the first trailer for “The Batman” came out because he was unrecognizable.Wright was also as surprised as enthusiastic when he first saw Farrell in his penguin look.
“Colin walked to the set one day and walked past him,” W said laughing at SiriusXM’s “The Jess Cagle Show,” quoted through People.
“I thought, “Okay, hey, what’s going on?”Are we going to shoot?” It was, it’s pretty remarkable.”
Before Wright’s revelations, several Twitter users were buzzing on the micro-blogs after seeing the trailer. They knew that Farrell’s character, however, did not anticipate his unrecognizable gaze. However, many have endorsed his appearance as The Penguin.
“I can’t, it’s Colin Farrell as a penguin. It’s unrecognizable hahaha,” @jdamis wrote.
“Wait, am I worried about Twitter or is Colin Farrell in the role of Penguin in the Batman trailer? If so, is this one of the most productive transformation makeups I’ve ever seen?” commented John Squires.
“IKR? Personally, I love this penguin, Riddler also looks amazing, I mean other people were skeptical of some of the actors like Jeffrey Wright as Gordon, but he seems the second most productive gordon of all time (Gary Oldman will be the most productive), “Added another.
While many agreed with Farrell and Wright’s Teaser, many liked Robert Pattinson’s “emo” look.In the preview, the actor from “Twilight” brandished dark eyeliner and very serious behavior.
“Now this Batman turns out to have non-public problems,” one of them said in the trailer.
“Then let’s go back to the emo phase? Batman and the emo don’t fit me,” he wrote on Twitter.
Director Matt Reeves explained that Pattinson described a more grainy character. In the film, I was still discovering what I could do and at that time it was not yet a symbol of hope.I was suffering with the public’s belief in him.
“The Batman” has three months of filming. The cast will resume production in September, according to one source.
