According to the deadline, in an effects call, Lionsgate officially proved that there would be a John Wick 5, and this film will be shot consecutively with the fourth. CEO John Feltheimer said the studio was aiming to get production “early next year.”
Since John Wick Four has not yet shown an official filming date, it would possibly be a little unexpected if John Wick Five has already been approved by the studio. However, given the franchise’s fantastic track record, this deal is not radical.
The first film, a good fortune work box, grossed $86 million internationally against a production budget of $20 million.
