Lambertville Cinema offers a number of movie parks on Saturday

Do you miss movies? Acme Screening Room in Lambertville hopes to retrieve the drive-in.

The Acme Carpool Cinema will be presented every Saturday night for the rest of the summer at 204 N. Union St. in Lambertville. Each night will feature live music through local bands, followed by a screening of films at dusk.

The nonprofit art house at 25 S. Union Street has been closed since March 8. Today, they have partnered with the city of Lambertville to house the movie parks.

Tickets will be earned online and charged between $35 and $40 depending on the car.

“We are pleased to offer a remote social night, to allow everyone to faint cautiously this summer,” said film executive Director Donna Muchnicki. “Our has been wonderful and enjoys live music and a favorite movie.”

Guests are invited to bring their own food or local restaurants offering takeaways. Thai Tida will be available to supply Thai street food.

Spike Lee’s “Do the Right Thing” is scheduled for July 25, and Freddie Mercury’s biographical film “Bohemian Rhapsody” is scheduled for August 1. Other films will be added to the week of the show, according to the organizers.
