Seth Meyers returns to 30 Rock a little earlier than expected.
The late night presenter revealed his screen last night, his segment A Closer Look, that he had only three more screens left to film in the attic of his in-laws before returning to Studio 8G.
This comes after The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon returned to 30 Rock a few weeks ago and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and The Late Late Show with James Corden returned the week.
Meyers, who records at Studio 8G, has been recording from his attic for more than five months, making jokes with the talking sea captain and a worn-out copy of The Thorn Birds.Meanwhile, NBC, directed through Mike Shoemaker and executive producer through Lorne Michaels, reached its 1000th episode.
Late Night With Seth Meyers will take two weeks before returning on Tuesday, September 8.
Meyers recently told Deadline that he likes to run from home.”I know it’s to communicate things that are a little nicer in those horrible times, but because they want to download things before, because other people do graphics from their apartments with a less than optimal web connection to access the network, I roll around 4:30 p.m.instead of passing by the house at 8:30 p.m.m.So I see more of my children. That’s very good, other people aren’t bad.My wife was right, I just had to spend time with them,” she says.
