The star of “Peninsula”, Lee Re, has revealed what it’s like to play Kang Dong Won, Lee Jung Hyun, Kwon Hae Hyo and many others in the sequel to “Train to Busan”.
“Peninsula” takes a stand four years after the “Train to Busan” occasions and focuses on an organization of other people who have been fighting for their lives in a ruined country. Less than four days after its release on July 15, the film has surpassed one million viewers.
First, Lee Re explained how he’s fared lately. “I’ve been on vacation for a few days,” he revealed. “I met my friends and at home I read or cook. Recently, my mom and I did any Lee Jung Hyun cookbook. It wasn’t simple as I didn’t cook regularly, but it was good.”
Lee Re then talked about running with the director of “Peninsula.” She said, “The director reassures the actors.” Born in 2006, Lee Re said she had made her industry debut as a child actress, the director had never treated her as if she were younger than her co-star.
Lee Re also spoke about his character in “Peninsula.” She said: “Joon is such a great character that I fell in love with her as soon as I won the director’s script. He’s a character with a taste I’ve never tried before in my previous roles, so I sought to set up Joon. “
On her short hair, Lee Re said she cut her hair for her role in the film.
“Before, my hair was very long,” he says. “However, I sought to differentiate Joon from my previous characters. While interviewing the principal, I asked him if Joon would look much cooler if he had shorter hair. The director talked about it with the production team, and that’s when the joon was born.
Lee Re then talked about his first impression of his co-stars. She shared: “At first it was a little tricky to approach Kang Dong Won because he’s a well-known actor, but after a while I think, naturally, I’ve become more comfortable with him filming. Lee Re also described it as warm and funny. and gifted to care about others.
She continued: “I think it’s very detailed and professional after watching him talk about his character with the director on set, even after he finished filming. I think I have a lot to report on him!
Lee Re then described Lee Jung Hyun. “Instead of our first assembly being embarrassing, it was a laugh because I know his plans and his music,” Lee Re said. “She’s pretty, seeing her in genuine life. As soon as I saw her, I kept thinking, “Is it a doll? “
Lee Re added: “When we were playing, he praised me very much and made me feel comfortable. I think I was able to do well because it gave me a positive energy.
The actress also spoke of Kwon Hae Hyo, sharing: “He’s a wonderful senior to me, so at first it was a little tricky to master it, but he greeted me with a warm smile. She revealed that Kwon Hae Hyo had helped her much, especially with the car chase scene.
