Lohan’s new film, Irish Wish, did better than her last. According to Samba TV, a television intelligence firm, Wish attracted 1 million American families in the livestream window plus two days over the weekend.
That’s a 3% increase from Netflix’s most recent Lohan release, Falling for Christmas, which averaged 989,000 families in the same release window.
It’s no surprise that older Millennials, who grew up watching Lohan’s early films and seeing her adventures documented on social media, were particularly interested in the film. Samba found that families with adults between the ages of 35 and 44 over-indexed their audience by 6%, meaning they were more likely than the average user to view Wish.
Despite the huge buzz leading up to the film’s release and the excitement for Lohan’s continued resurgence, the film didn’t really attract notable numbers. For example, Samba notes that Rebel Moon-Part One: A Child of Fire, a science film The fi movie, starring Sofia Boutella and Charlie Hunnam, extended its four-day release window.
The film attracted 1. 7 million families when it was released in December. It also worked very well with Black families, who over-indexed the audience by 8%, and Hispanic families, who over-indexed the audience by 12%.
Get in the habit of seeing Lohan on the small screen. Netflix signed him to a two-picture deal that included Falling for Christmas. She also stars in Netflix’s Christmas romantic comedy about two exes who have to spend Christmas together.
You can watch Irish Wish in Netflix. La movie is 93 minutes long.
