The COVID-19 pandemic has slowed music concerts, however, a Shreveport events team is fed and able to bring live experiences.
The Shreveport Summer Sendoff Drive In Concert series, presented through PinPoint Events, will provide participants with an environment to view and pay attention to musical acts performing on the same level at a distance from other audiences.
“I’m so excited to have the opportunity to bring live music to our community,” said co-founder Matt Snyder. “We painted hard to provide an incredibly fun concert environment as we take steps to keep everyone interested in security and socially remote.”
The social distance skating occasion is scheduled every Friday in September at Stoner Skate Park in Shreveport.
The Shreveport Summer Sendoff Drive In Concert series includes popular artists from Shreveport-Bossier City and Louisiana.
Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. every single night. The first component will take the level at 7 p.m. and the headliner will be held from 8:30 p.m. 10 p.m.

Amid the pandemic, the Shreveport-based team devised a plan to continue to provide entertainment to the family circle in a relaxed atmosphere.
Concerts will follow all CDC and Louisiana state rules. Safety and fitness precautions related to COVID-19 will come with contactless access and disinfection stations near the bathrooms. Masks are required for all participants when they are in the backdoor domain assigned to them. Fans will only be allowed to leave their wheel-sucking domain to go into the bathroom.
“It’s amazing to give other people in the music industry and the occasion opportunities to get back to work, and I hope this provides a successful example of how to deliver live music to our community,” Snyder said.
