Lucifer Season 5, opening act, yet arrives on Netflix today.
The hit series is back, with Tom Ellis’ Satan returning from hell after a Season 4 finale to overload a demonic rebellion.
For those who haven’t noticed, Lucifer is a fantasy drama centered on Lucifer Morningstar, or the devil, who evacuates hell and moves to Los Angeles to run a nightclub, before hiring a LAPD representative.
The fifth season had already been featured as the last episode of the series, however, after Lucifer’s enthusiasts claimed another release, it subsidized upArray. and will come back for the sixth time at some point.
The screen originally aired on Fox, but was canceled after only 3 seasons. That’s when Netflix blew it up and took it out of Fox’s hands, which is wonderful news for Lucifer’s unwavering heads.
After the news broke, Ildy Modrovich and his fellow manufacturer Joe Henderson thanked the broadcast and screen enthusiasts for giving them another chance to complete the series as they hoped.
They said: “We are incredibly grateful to Netflix for resurrecting our screen last season and for allowing us now to finish Lucifer’s story on our terms.
“The most important thing is that we should thank the enthusiasts for their love and support. The most productive thing is to come!”
Some enthusiasts have claimed that season five would be Ellis’ last hurrah as the main character, and one even claimed that he would be replaced by Vampire Diaries star Ian Somerhalder for a sixth season.
However, this temporarily canceled through Modrovich. Sharing a tweet, he wrote: “Bwahahahaha !!!!”
And with Ellis already registered for the sixth and final season, we think he’s safe.
Speaking to the Guardian, Ellis admitted that he had accepted that season five was the last, until he called and invited another.
He said: “I had planned to spend this season in my own grieving process. And then, towards the end, literally as we had already imagined how we would end our show, we received a call from Netflix saying: do you like to make season? ‘”
Adding: “I know we’re Lazarus’ TV shows, but this will be the last season.”
