Maze Runner’s next film, Dylan O’Brien, is the most recent main film that hits theaters and heads straight to a virtual release of the house.
Love and Monsters, which has been in progression for several years and was titled Monster Problems in the past, abandoned its scheduled release for February 12, 2021, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Instead, science fiction will be broadcast on Premium Video On Demand platforms in the United States starting October 16 of this year, Paramount Pictures confirmed.

Love and Monsters takes up position in a post-apocalyptic world where massive monsters have invaded the Earth’s surface, forcing all surviving humans to retreat to underground colonies.
One day, Joel Dawson (O’Brien, who plays the central character of The Maze Runner Thomas) makes the decision that he is willing to threaten his life to find and locate his Aimee High School girlfriend (Iron Fist star Jessica Henwick). and goes into the world to locate her.
Along the way, he meets a heroic dog, as well as a couple of skilled hunters and survivors named Clyde (Michael Rooker of Guardians of the Galaxy) and Minnow (Ariana Greenblatt) who teach him the skills he wants for his journey along the monster. -infested roads leading to Aimee.
Andrew Gumpert, Paramount’s chief operating officer, showed the studio’s resolution related to the film’s release in a statement: “Given the demand for high-quality entertainment right now, Paramount has to spread Love and Monsters on virtual platforms.

“As we move ahead of the reopening of cinemas, we seek to make this original and imaginative film so that everyone can enjoy it at home.”
Love and Monsters will be available on PVOD platforms in the US. During an era of 48-hour rental and will be priced at $19.99, and will also be available for an early virtual acquisition for $24.99. Lately there’s nothing new about a British version.
Love and Monsters, the first film to go from a film premiere to a home premiere, with Universal leading the way in April providing a virtual release for Trolls World Tour.
Other films that have been released include Scoob!, The Lovebirds and The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run.
