‘Midnight Family’: AppleTV releases trailer for upcoming medical drama in Spanish

In March 2022, Apple TV commissioned Midnight Family, its first original series entirely in Spanish. Filmed in Mexico City and featuring an all-Hispanic cast, Midnight Family is a 10-episode medical drama created for television by Gibrán Portela (Güeros, The Untamed) and Julio Rojas (La Jauría), and produced by Pablo Larraín and Juan de Dios. . Larraín (Spencer, A Fantastic Woman).

Today, the streaming service unveiled the trailer for Midnight Family, which will launch with two episodes on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, followed by a new episode every Wednesday until November 20, 2024.

Ángela Poblete and Mariane Hartard are executive producers along with Natalia Beristáin. Rodrigo Herranz, Christian Vesper, Luke Lorentzen, Kellen Quinn, Josh Braun and Jonathan Bouzali are also executive producers.

The commission marks the second collaboration between Apple TV, Fremantle and Beristáin, who in the past directed episodes of the original drama The Mosquito Coast.
