I’m surprised at how absurd manufacturers’ 3D printer offerings are. I mean, you’ll see some pretty decent deals on Amazon or Walmart, especially during the annual Prime Day 3D printer deals. But they can’t stand up to those of Anycubic, Elegoo, and the others.
In fact, this is the case today. Head over to Anycubic and locate the Photon Mono M5s for $269 instead of $579, which is a bit ridiculous (it’s also a big £269 discount in the United Kingdom, if you’re curious). As a reminder, other stores are promoting it for more than $369. Amazon is actually asking for $499.
Oh, and you get a loose 1kg resin bottle with this saver from Anycubic. Because the only thing better than a big discount is loose products, this is one of the discounts I’ve noticed all week.
I check 3D printers as part of my job, so I spend a good percentage of them monthly. In 2023, few people have come close to the Anycubic Photon Mono M5. Thanks to the self-leveling technology, it is incredibly undeniable to install and requires very little effort from the user. This makes it incredibly beginner-friendly, but also less confusing for experts.
It also offers high-quality effects thanks to the 12K resolution. Although this has since been replaced and self-leveling is the norm in those days, the Photon Mono M5 was one of the first to open those trails.
That’s why I suggest you check it out, especially if you’re new to this hobby. It’s a very available device despite some intricate bells and whistles, and that’s part of the explanation for why it made it straight into our list of the most productive 3D printers. Even now I can’t argue much.

As the site’s table and merch editor, I located my dirty paws in everything from board game reviews to the latest Lego news. I’ve been writing about games in one form or another since 2012, and I can usually laugh at a diabolical plan I’ve drawn up for the upcoming Dungeons campaign
My favorite controller choice is to have a sequel and I couldn’t be more excited.
