NY ATTORNEY GENERAL ON SEXUAL HARASSMENT CLAIMS ON NBC NEWS, REPORTER SAYS

The New York Attorney General’s Office declined to comment on Fox News. An NBC News spokesman told Fox News that the company is unans aware of any investigations.
NBCUniversal did not respond to a request for comment on whether a possible investigation through the New York Attorney General resulted in Lack’s departure.
Linda Vester, a former NBC correspondent and former Fox News host, told Fox News Don on Tuesday that she met through the New York Attorney General’s workplace on NBC on January 7. The Attorney General is investigating allegations of an old sexual assault on NBC News.
“You have to assume that [NBCUniversal] heard about this investigation because it’s been going on for months and they’ve been given to talk to dozens of employees, so I think it has a role to play, there’s a new address upstairs, so they decided, “We’re going to check to get away from that black eye,” McHugh said when Carlson asked if Lack had been fired or forced to resign.

But Lack’s return caused a new mess for the net when the Weinstein and Lauer scandals broke out in 2017.
Lauer was fired soon after for his own inappropriate sexual conduct and Lack refused to allow an outdoor lawyer to investigate others who were aware of Lauer’s sexual misdeeds. Instead of a white shoe law firm, such as other media outlets dealing with internal sexual harassment issues, adding Fox News, the lack allowed Attorney General Kim Harris to conduct the review.
Harris’ internal review ultimately indicated that NBC’s control was unaware of Lauer’s obscene behavior at all. The effects of NBC’s review were ridiculed by NBC’s media control agencies and employees, while former NBC News star Ann Curry said he did not participate despite publicly telling The Washington Post that he had complained to senior NBC News executives about Lauer’s behavior.

Despite all the negative attention and replacement requests from all sides, NBCUniversal has publicly subsidized Lack, and many experts point to his relationship with Burke as an explanation for why the debatable executive is untouchable.
Lack even once issued a 10-page memo, along with a canopy letter and a topic chart, which dealt with allegations that Farrow and McHugh were ordered to delete Weinstein’s report after NBC’s “highest levels.”
Farrow, McHugh and former Weinstein Company and Weinstein’s accuser Emily Nestor publicly condemned Lack’s memo at the time.

Last year, he announced that Burke would resign in 2020 and NBCUniversal Film and Entertainment President Jeff Shell named his successor.

NBC has denied that Oppenheim leaked the tape to Fahrenthold, who, with Oppenheim, is connected to hillary Clinton’s investor Marc Mezvinsky.
Fahrenthold then won the payment for NBC News.
Some loyal to Oppenheim think it will succeed Lack, while other experts felt it was also obligatory to show him the door for NBC News to leave their culture blank.
Although Oppenheim was not promoted to the former Lack concert, he remains president of NBC News and will report to Cesar Conde, who was named president of NBCUniversal News Group on Monday.
