The anime adaptation of Sakamoto Days is coming to Netflix in January 2025.
Netflix has greenlit a new anime called Sakamoto Days, which will be available for international streaming in January 2025. The series, which is an anime adaptation of the manga of the same name through illustrator Yuto Suzuki, follows the mythical ex-hitman. Taro. Sakamoto joins forces with his comrades to take on the ever-closing assassin organization to ensure he has a peaceful life with his beloved family.
The official connection line: The biggest hitman of them all: his name was Taro Sakamoto. The guy who was feared by all the villains and respected by all the hitmen, one day he fell in love! When Sakamoto met Aoi, the convenience store clerk, it was love at first sight; And so, he retired. Sakamoto got married, had a daughter, opened a family store in a quiet part of the city, and completely transformed herself. . . plus size! To ensure a non-violent life with his beloved family, the legendary former hitman embarks on an endless series of murderous attacks. This action-packed story, somewhere between the extra and the extra, starts here!
Sakamoto Days is written and illustrated by Yuto Suzuki and directed by Masaki Watanabe. The series will air on Netflix with one episode per week.
