‘Never again’: Sarah Paulson criticizes Broadway actress for giving her unsolicited notes

The actors who do television and film are the ones who attract all the press, but before that, there was the theater, which is very popular with actors and audiences. From time to time we hear about big stars passing by to see an exhibition and then hanging out in the background. . As it turns out, this is a pretty adamant tradition, although Sarah Paulson didn’t do very well in the past.

Paulson recently made the impression on the Smartless podcast where the culture of celebrities making a stopover in the cast of an exhibition came to light. While Paulson’s American Horror Story characters are probably what she knows best, she’s also done a good percentage of stage work. It turns out that celebrities are meant to stop alongside the actors, but not doing so is considered an indication that they may not have liked the play. But Paulson once had an interaction with an actress that she didn’t hesitate. It went on the air because I was so disappointed by it. Paulson began. . .

I once directed a play. The last time I went on stage, I did a play called Talley’s Folly at the Roundabout, and the actress. . . And I’m going to say this, and I’m not going to ask you to cut it, because I don’t. Damn, this actress made it all the way to the room. Your call is Trish Hawkins: Hi, Trish!Hello, Trisha! Trish Hawkins came to see the play: Will I Be Sued?I don’t care, because I find it scandalous.

Normally, in order to keep the peace, actors do not criticize other actors. Recently, Rebecca Ferguson opened up about a bad spree she had with an actor on set, but she never spoke of his name. No one would have blamed Sarah Paulson for talking about what happened without naming names, but she’s so disappointed by what happened that she doesn’t care.

Trish Hawkins is a Broadway veteran who plays the role in Talley’s Folly played by Sarah Paulson on the show. Hawkins was apparently friends with Paulson’s mother and was her guest that night.

Paulson says the interaction began with Hawkins pointing out that the dress Paulson wore on the level was a different color than the original star wore in his production, which was a sign that this interaction wasn’t going well. The face-to-face verbal exchange would possibly have been awkward, what disappointed Paulson to the point of attempting to tell this story publicly was what happened next. Paulson continued. . .

Two days later, I got an email with six pages of notes and a communication about what she had done when she directed the play, which she had advised me to do. It was a scandal. It was scandalous. Trish Hawkins, I haven’t forgotten and I hope I never see you.

Needless to say, Sarah Paulson wasn’t looking for Hawkins’ comments. And six pages of recommendations asking him to do things go a little beyond the framework of a restrictive critique. He explained to the presenters that if he had asked for feedback on his performance it would have been one thing, but he didn’t and wouldn’t.

Sarah Paulson is an ordinary actress. Paulson’s film and television roles are plentiful and impressive. She is an Emmy winner and recently nominated for a Tony Award. Stephen King praised his ability to create terror. No one wants to worry too much about the possible choices they make during their performances. He obviously knows what he’s doing.
