New 2020s films: What you can see when cinemas reopen

Wondering which new movies will arrive in 2020? The film industry has had a torrid year so far. The widespread global blockade behind the coronavirus has led to the closure of theatres around the world, first in China and then in countries such as the United States and the United Kingdom. But now that governments are starting to soften blocking measures, there are many exciting new films in 2020 to look ahead. Many of them delayed from previous dates in the year, the big hitters arrive quickly and forcefully.

In this list, we’re going to explain which new and exciting movies will arrive in 2020 (with their release dates updated after closing), and which wonderful films, some of which were originally scheduled for this year, will now be released in 2021. Earned We do not place all the movies in this list, however, we will highlight all the next biggest and most productive videos that we think you will need to see in the reopening of cinemas. If there is also a trailer, locate it below.

Also note that some of those films are likely to move as other studies respond to the current fitness crisis. This includes Christopher Nolan’s Tenet, which has other release dates depending on whether you see it in the U.S. Or in any of the other 70 territories, and Disney’s Mulan, which is now postponed indefinitely.

Although Unhinged was still delayed since early July, Russell Crowe’s next mystery was one of the few films that were screened, and will remain one of the first new films viewers will be able to enjoy after the coronavirus epidemic.

The plot is quite simple: a divorced mother (Caren Pistorious) succumbs to rage at the wheel of a troubled guy arrested at a red light, harassing her and tormenting her and her family. According to the horrified trailer, it turns out that its chase is so violent and obsessive that the film will, in spite of everything, bring you together with the edge of your movie seat.

Release date: August 7, 2020

Just to remind us that the e-book adaptations of comedians on the big screen only about Marvel and DC, this supernatural horror brings Cullen Bunn and Vanessa Del Rey’s Boom! Graphic novel of studies on the big screen. James Badge Dale of Iron Man 3 plays a heartbroken ex-cop who encounters a sinister organization that seeks to summon an evil supernatural entity while running in a case of homeless people. The first-time director, David Prior, calls for the blows.

Originally scheduled to leave before the gloomy X-Men: Dark Phoenix, The New Mutants has spent the more than two years pushing and speaking many times. With its release date set for April until the coronavirus arrives, some of us wonder if this will ever hit theaters. However, the concept of immersing mutant teens in a terrifying, hospitable horror movie is intriguing, and the young cast (which includes Anya Taylor-Joy of the Witch and Maisie Williams of Game of Thrones) has certain potential.

The list of filmmakers who spend millions of dollars making a movie without a franchise is limited, but Christopher Nolan is one of them. Unfortunately for us, however, director Dark Knight, Inception and Interstellar makes Marvel look chatty when it comes to plots, and even a few weeks before the release, there’s not much more to do with Warner’s official line that “an epic action evolving from the global foreign espionage.” The trailer above, however, suggests something much more complicated, involving the afterlife…

After Tenet was delayed for the third time, the elusive blockbuster will now reach 70 other countries rather than the United States, where it will land decisively in cities that are recently unknown. This is unusual, but it is not surprising, given how severely affected the American coronavirus remains. Warner Bros. he promised that the film would have a prolonged theatrical release so that other people would also have a chance to see it.

Two of the most accurate guys in the cinema are making a long-awaited comeback, but life didn’t go as planned. Although they are meant to write music that motivates universal peace and harmony (while reducing the averages of mini-passlf), Bill S Preston, Esquire and Ted “Theodore” Logan are still waiting to live the dream. Fortunately, Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves have returned to play Hollywood’s most productive aerial guitar duo, with William Sadler as Death and original writers Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon, so I hope it’s more correct than fake.

Originally scheduled for August 21, and then august 28, Bill and Ted Face the Music will now be available for premium on-demand videos, and then in some theaters on September 1.

Release date: September 2020 (United Kingdom); September 18, 2020 (United States)

Following the fun action of Kingsman: The Secret Service, the franchise was temporarily derailed with the out-of-the-box The Golden Circle. So there’s a lot to do in this third part, which is possibly why he took such a radical new direction, returning to World War I to show off the beginnings of the top-secret and impeccably adapted spy organization The Kingsmen. Ralph Fiennes is the M-type character (shouldn’t be too exaggerated …) who recruits Conrad from Harris Dickinson into the club to fight a logo of early 20th century evil. This looks like an old-fashioned James Bond to us, and there’s nothing wrong with that.

The film that showed that DC can (sometimes) move hand in hand with Marvel gets a highly anticipated sequel. After the world War I heroes of the first film, we joined the Amazon princess Diana (Gal Gadot) in the mid-1980s when faced with the new villains Cheetah (Kristen Wiig) and media mogul Maxwell Lord, played by a boy from The Mask of Mandaloriano, Pedro Pascal. Much of the Internet rumors, however, surround the mystery of how Steve Trevor of Chris Pine, who last noticed dying in a heroically doomed plane in the first film, returned in a piece for Wonder Woguy 1984. Answers and tear-filled meetings. – They deserve to address us in October …

Kenneth Branagh directs the sequel to his adaptation Murder on the Orient Express, where he returns to his role, and to this stunning facial hair, as Agatha Christie’s Hercule Poirot. As in the first film, he brought a dazzling ensemble for the trip, this time with Gal Gadot, Emma Mackey of Sex Education and Letitia Wright of Black Panther. Don’t expect big surprises in the plot (the story is over 80 years old), however, with stories of intrigue like this, the thrill is to see Poirot seek a storm.

In the trailer, Wes Anderson’s newest film is probably the closest thing to Wes Anderson you can imagine. His first film of the undervalued island of dogs is an anthology of the stories that make up the newest factor of the titular magazine, an American publication made in France. Everything from the color palette to the ensemble’s cast (which includes Anderson’s regular Bill Murray, Owen Wilson and Tilda Swinton) is in line with what we expect from a director whose call seems almost “strange” in a thesaurus. Timothée Chalamet and Jeffrey Wright are also on the lineup.

The author of Get Out/Us, Jordan Peele, produces this sequel to the 1990s slasher franchise. Watchmen and Aquaman star Yahya Abdul-Mateen II plays an artist obsessed with the legend of Candyman, a supernatural killer who appears in the mirrors when you say his call five times. The details of the plot are rare, but Tony Todd is rumored to reinterpret his role as scarecrows with his hands hooked that spit bees, while director Nia DaCosta (Little Woods 2018, Netflix’s 2018 Top Boy renaissance) calls the hits.

It has been a total decade to come, however, The Russian Superspy Avengers Natasha Romanoff, also known as Black Widow, nevertheless has the chance to appear on the cover of his own film in what is now Marvel’s only big screen 2020 release. An embarrassment that Scarlett Johansson had to wait (spoiler alert!) for her character to die in Avengers: End of the Game to get a solo release, however, the film directed through Cate Shortland returns the day after Captain America: Civil War, Romanoff faces his turbulent past. Expect rival assassins, spy overload and Stranger Things’ David Harbour as Russia’s unlikely reaction to Captain America.

When Pixar needs to overcome the barriers of creation, he regularly turns to director Pete Docter. This is the guy who turned nightmare things into hugs Monsters, Inc., expertly navigated grief Up and literally penetrated the human brain into Inside Out. Family existentialism continues with Soul, as an aspiring jazz teacher/pianist (voiced by Jamie Foxx) falls down a sewer and digs up transported to a mysterious world where souls are informed. Expect many deep questions about predetermination and self-nature, all delivered with the technical genius and spirit of Pixar.

Daniel Craig is drawing his Walther PPK for the fifth and final time in the new James Bond film (originally scheduled for release in April) when the 007 arc through Casino Royale in 2006 reaches an explosive ending. When James Bond begins the film retires in Jamaica with Spectre survivor Madeleine Swann (Lea Sedoux), there are rumors that the couple now have a child, soon returning to active duty through a story involving Blofeld (Christoph Waltz), modeler MI6. Colleagues. M, Q and Moneypenny, and a new Agent 00 in the form of Captain Marvel’s Lashana Lynch. However, all eyes will be on Rami Malek, winner of the Bohemian Rhapsody Oscar, as Big Bad called Safin.

The history of video-inspired videos is not glorious, however, Free Guy turns out to be able to find a smart solution to this specific challenge: it’s not based on an express franchise. Instead, he takes up position in an invented game in which a non-player character suddenly becomes self-aware and becomes a hero. This looks like the best vehicle for Ryan Reynolds, who can become a sensible action hero while he sleeps, while the trailer suggests that the truth of the game will give fights a laugh. The cast is also excellent, with Jodie Comer from Killing Eve, Joe Keery of Stranger Things and flexible legend Taika Waititi, all betting together.

Director Denis Villeneuve is not afraid of challenges. After negotiating the tough deadlines for the fan expectations of arrival and assembly with the brilliant Blade Runner 2049, he tackles Frank Herbert’s epic opera, an e-book widely regarded as a film. David Lynch did a test in 1984, of course, but you hope that with the effects of the 21st century, Villeneuve’s ability to count talents and a cast of stars: Timothée Chalamet of the king is the hero of Paul Atreides’ story, while Rebecca Ferguson’s Mission: Impossible plays her mother, Lady Jessica – the new Dune could very well achieve the Array The fact that the eebook is divided into at least two films suggests they’ll give history time to breathe.

The year is expected to end with a kind of song and dance, as all eyes turn to Steven Spielberg’s first musical on the big screen. And let’s be honest, the legendary director of Indiana Jones, Jaws and Saving Private Ryan couldn’t have picked a bigger act to watch. The film edition of Robert Wise’s vintage production by Bernstein and Sondheim, which won an Oscar in 1961, is one of the most important musicals of all time, so it will be exciting to see what Spielberg can bring to the party.

Following the great Phoebe Waller-Bridge was going to be a big challenge, but Emerald Fennell did a smart job when she took over as showrunner in the killing eve season. Fennell adds something else to her impressive bow (she also looks like the young Camilla Parker-Bowles in The Crown) as she writes and directs a new revenge film Promising Young Woman. Carey Mulligan plays a woman whose life has turned through a mysterious occasion in her afterlife, but who now ends up correcting the mistakes of the afterlife: the trailer suggests it will be an explosion.

As the film was removed from the release schedule after Covid-19, a new date has not yet been confirmed.

Disney’s lucrative project to turn its animated classics into real-action hits continues with Mulan. However, this turns out to be less of a fairy tale than the likes of Aladdin and Beauty and the Beast, with the one concentrated in the realms of the ancient war epic. The main story of Hua Mulan, a young woguy pretending to be a guy who enrolls in the army in imperial China remains intact, and we hope it will be magnificent: anyone looking for the mysterious fellow dragon Mushu (with a memorable voice through Eddie Murphy in the original) would possibly be disappointed.

This will be Disney’s first theatrical release since closing began, and was delayed from July to August, before the studio completely got rid of the film’s release program due to the uncertainty of the coronavirus, i.e. in North America.
