Ardmore Studios in Bray and Troy Studios in Limerick have announced that Elaine Geraghty, recently CEO of Screen Producers Ireland, will be enrolled in the studios late this fall as CEO.

“Elaine has had a rich career and one that has noticed her running several giant organizations and comes to the studios with more than 30 years of experience in the audiovisual and media sector,” they said in a statement. Having held executive positions within the Communicorp Group, the Sunday Tribune and 98FM, in her role as Newstalk’s CEO, she led Newstalk from a local radio station in Dublin to download her license and become Ireland’s first independent national broadcaster.

Joe Devine, president of Ardmore Studios and Troy Studios, said: “Elaine brings a wealth of sense of control of media and business to her new role at an exciting time in the history of a global burst of calls to audiovisual content creation. It is very best for our studies because it understands the exclusive operation of the sector and has the mandatory skills for our company. Raghallaigh will continue to be CEO of any of the studios and will oversee, manage and complete our expansion at Ardmore.

Ardmore Studios is embarking on a primary investment program that, in particular, will increase the capacity of its studios and offer the highest point of sound points and help buildings compete with the world’s most productive. The plan is to provide 3 new sound scenes to facilitate growing foreign demand for high-quality sound point spaces. Once completed, Ardmore Studios will feature more than 140,000 square feet of sound points and about 120,000 square feet of aid buildings on its Bray site. The redevelopment strategy will particularly affect the infrastructure of existing studios, ensuring that studies continue to attract high-quality domestic and foreign productions in the future.
