New To Netflix This Week: Transformers: War For Cybertron, More Anime, Movies, TV Shows, And Originals

Looking forward to next week, Netflix has plenty of content you’ll want to watch for the first time or rewatch for the millionth. If you’re a fan of the neverending war between Autobots and Decepticons or a story that is neverending, this will be a good week for you.

On July 31, Transformers: War for Cybertron: Siege debuts. This in the first of a three-part series, and the six episodes from Part One–titled Siege–drop that day. The series will follow the civil war between the Autobots and Decepticons on their home planet of Cybertron. How did these Transformers end up on Earth? We’ll find out more when the series debuts at the end of July.

Also arriving this week is The NeverEnding Story 1 and 2. The first films follows a boy who finds he can interact with the book he’s reading, as a mysterious villain named “The Nothing” is destroying the book’s fictional land of Fantasia. Did you ever wonder why the film’s sequel had the exact same main villain? That’s because both of these films are based on the same book by Michael Ende and NeverEnding Story 2 is the basis for the latter half of the movie. Both movies arrive on Saturday, August 1.

Also arriving on August 1 are the first three Jurassic Park movies. While you’ll probably just want to watch the first movie all over again, the sequel–titled The Lost World–and Jurassic Park III both have some very exciting moments. Plus, it’s dinosaurs rampaging, and who doesn’t want more of that.

Below, you’ll find everything headed to Netflix for the week of July 26. And for a look ahead at Netflix, check out what’s arriving in August.
