Talk remains strong about Matty Cash’s future on Trentside, and as he celebrates his 23rd birthday, speculation continues to mount.
While there may be an outgoing or two this summer, speculation surrounding incomings remains strong with Lyle Taylor one of the names to have been doing the rounds since the transfer window opened, with Forest said to be one of a handful of clubs keen on the striker.
As a free agent who all but guarantees goals, it’s understandable there would be such interest. But there seems to be a little confusion over just who has their eye on him, with reports of Celtic talks, and then reports that Celtic aren’t interested.
Elsewhere, the Reds have been linked with Kieron Freeman along with Ivan Toney, as Peterborough United ramp up their annual player sale saga.

The Under-23s’ Professional Development League season was suspended back in March, with the games then cancelled in May, but it the Premier League decide the seasons are sorted by points per game at their AGM today, then Forest, six points clear of the Northern Group, will take the title.
