One of the 2024 videos is now streaming – How to watch “The Bikeriders” at home

Bikeriders hit theaters for the first time in June and arrived on on-call video a few weeks ago. Now, the crime drama of the time about a motorcycle gang in the 1960s can be freely streamed at home.

The film stars Austin Butler, Tom Hardy, Jodie Comer, Michael Shannon, Norman Reedus, Mike Faist, Boyd Holbrook and many more and follows the story of the fictional band Vandal, at the Outlaws Motorcycle Club. The film is animated through a photo. E-book of the same call through the photographer Danny Lyon (also a character in the photo).

The film will be the opening film of the 50th Telluride Film Festival in 2023 and was originally scheduled to premiere in December 2023, which was postponed due to the writers’ strike, which prevented actors from selling the film.

The Bikeriders has a respectable 80% critical score on Rotten Tomatoes (75% from audiences). The general consensus among critics is that this is a wrought and well-crafted period piece with performances that can be somewhat uneventful. A wrought character study with not enough happening to keep things interesting, but still worth a watch.

I missed this one in theaters, which is why I’m so excited for it to come to Peacock today. Yes, it’s possibly not your favorite streaming service; someday, I’m sure it will transfer to Netflix. however, it’s more than spending $20 on VOD.

The film written and directed by Jeff Nichols, whose other films include Take Shelter, Mud and Midnight Special.
