But it’s perhaps surprising that the most productive content to watch this week is on Peacock, with the most productive old series and hopefully the most productive new movie.
Homicide: Life on the Street is one of the most critically acclaimed TV series of the past three decades, and yet the series has never been available on any streaming platform. That changes this week when the series finally premieres. On top of that, we have several new and old videos and series coming to various streaming platforms.
Homicide: Life on the Streets debuted in 1993 and ran for seven seasons, plus a TV movie. After years where Homicide wasn’t available to stream, this is all coming this week for anyone with a Peacock subscription. The series struggled with ratings during its run, though it was praised by critics at the time, so chances are you’ve never noticed. Now is the time to fix this problem.
