Make Persona5 enthusiasts relive the story of Phantom Thieves in the Persona5 animation in Funimation. Starting August 18, the streaming service allows the audience to view the screen with the original English cast of the game while repeating their roles.
The anime adaptation was first released in April 2018 on sites such as Crunchyroll and Hulu, but only as a dubbed with Japanese voice actors. Funimation members can now complete all 26 subtitled or dubbed episodes without having to wait week after week.
Cloverworks and Aniplex of America controlled the animated adaptation of the original game Persona5 released in 2015 on PS5. Other games in the Persona series had adaptations developed through 1-A Pictures; Persona: Trinity Soul, four films about Persona 3 (Spring of Birth, Midsummer Knight’s Dream, Falling Down, Winter of Rebirth) and Persona four the Golden Animation, while Studio AIC A.S.T.A. worked at Persona four the Animation.
It is known whether Persona five Royal or Persona Q2 will get an anime adaptation of any kind.
