Bonnier Books UK is about to launch a new list of exclusive music publications, which will be directed by Pete Selthrough as editor.

The print will provide a year-round publishing space for musical perspectives and a true diversity of voices, according to a statement.

The list includes memoirs, musical social stories and first-person narratives of “some of the most important writers, musicians and cultural commentators of the 21st century,” the editor said.

Selby joins Bonnier Books UK with extensive experience in the publishing and music industries. Prior to his last two senior publishing positions at WHSmith and The Roald Dahl Story Company Ltd, Selby headed Sainsbury’s music and books department for 8 years. While at Sainsbury’s, he designed and introduced the company’s exclusive vinyl record label and co-authored two books on the Now That That I Call Music compilation logo.
