President congratulates Trevor Noah for winning Talk Series award at Emmy

President Cyril Ramaphosa congratulated South African comedian Trevor Noah on winning Emmy Awards for The Daily Show.

The Emmy Awards, also known as the Emmy Awards, are an annual awards ceremony for foreign and American television programs.

Noah and the Daily Show won Outstanding Talk Series at the Emmys.

On social media X, President Ramaphosa said: “Congratulations to Trevor Noah on winning a prestigious Emmy Award for The Daily Show with Trevor Noah.

“Winning Outstanding Talk Series in a very competitive scene is no laughing matter.  Trevor’s part of a stellar cast of South Africans globally, whose diverse talents and skills are enjoyed and valued wherever they go.”

The president also looked forward to the reopening of students and schools for the start of the school year on X Day.

“As the school’s doors open today for 1. 2 million freshmen, we welcome those children, students at other levels, their families, and our educators back to school.

“Education is the key to personal growth and good fortune, as well as that of our nation. Let us work together as members of netpaintings and professional educators to create the conditions for our young people to thrive in the classroom, at home and in the society in general. Welcome and welcome back,” said President Ramaphosa.
