The Producers Guild of America announced Thursday the 10 nominees for its Best Feature Film award, after delaying the announcement due to wildfires raging in Los Angeles.

Here is the producers’ list of feature-film nominees:

“Anora”

“The Brutalist”

“A Complete Unknown”

“Conclave”

“Dune: Part Two”

“Emilia Pérez”

“A pain”

“September 5”

“The background”

“Wicked”

The Producers Guild is considered the group with the best track record of predicting the Oscars. Last year, all 10 PGA nominees made the Oscars’ best-picture lineup. When there is a divergence between the two groups, it’s typically because the PGA favors studio blockbusters and the academy leans toward international and independent films.

So there’s still wiggle room for two PGA-snubbed films that remain on the bubble of a Best Picture nomination, “Sing Sing” and “Nickel Boys. ” But the PGA list is good news for the release of Paramount’s “September 5th,” which earned a Golden Globe nomination for most productive drama but in a different way had a quiet awards season. With the Oscar voting prolonged due to the fires, more members of the academy may be encouraged to project this mystery onto television reporters covering a bloodbath at the 1972 Munich Olympics.

Only four films this season earned top nominations from producers, directors and actors’ guilds: “Anora,” “Conclave,” “Emilia Perez” and “A Complete Unknown. “(“Anora” and “A Complete Unknown” also earned Writers Guild nominations, for which the other two films were eligible. )Along with “The Brutalist” and “Wicked,” those films are expected to get the highest percentage of Oscar nods. nominaciones. se announced on January 23.

The PGA ritual will take place on February 8 at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles. Below you will find the other categories of movies. To see the full list of nominations and add television nominees, visit Producersguild. org.
