TEL AVIV, Israel, 8 September 2020 / PRNewswire / – RADWIN (www. radwin. com), the global provider of wireless broadband services, announced the launch of its new state-of-the-art line of MultiSector dual carrier base stations ™ PtMP.

Service providers planning new deployments in sparsely populated spaces face the need for a high-quality omnidirectional policy for a limited number of potential consumers, while requiring discrete wireless infrastructure to adhere to the business model. both for service providers and network operators facing a challenge.

The RADWIN MultiSector series delivers 1. 5 Gbps speed and supports up to four base station-consistent sectors with integrated or external antennas for a 360-degree policy. The MultiSector solution enables service providers and network-compatible agents to develop network policy and capacity. reducing complexity and TCO at the same time.

The new RADWIN base station series minimizes the amount of glue and wiring parts according to the site. The stand-alone base station includes two radios, an integrated GPS antenna and a Layer 2 switch. MultiSector also allows self-backhaul, eliminating desire, for another PtP radio.

RADWIN offers two base station solutions:

MultiSector Integrated is a base station that includes 180-degree (double 90-degree) sectoral MIMO antennas and accessories for connecting an additional 180-degree RADWIN antenna, or other third-party antennas to cover a full 360-degree canopy. Each of the radio carrier resources is distributed among 2 antennas in the time domain, thus preventing loss of signal strength when an RF splitter occurs.

This solution designed for MicroPoP policy that supports short-range connectivity of up to 2-3 km, adding small or remote rural villages, commercial parks on the outskirts of the city, video surveillance and remote automation for virtual oil and fuel fields.

MultiSector Connectorized, is a stand-alone base station, connecting up to four external MIMO antennas to allow wonderful flexibility in the variety of antennas through the deployment scenario. The base station is ideal for deploying sites and sectors, with each site assembling other political needs (i. e. area width and distance), such as long-range rural connectivity, video surveillance applications, etc. After being effectively implemented only in a project, RADWIN MultiSector Connectorized can now be purchased through its global distribution partners.

Zeev Farkash, RADWIN’s vice president of global sales, said: “RADWIN’s MultiSector solution has also been decided for a primary rural allocation in Latin America and will cover many government agencies and residential homes. Victory is the result of operational simplicity and flexibility in deploying the multisectoral solution. And this product will fulfill the wishes of service providers and network operators around the world. “
