Regal Cinemas adjusts gears and will open on August 21 for ”Tenet”

Cineworld Group, owner of Knoxville-based Regal Cinemas, has come and go countless times to reopen its cinemas amid a conversion pandemic. He’s now filming on August 21.

The company had planned to reopen U.S. sites. On July 10 and then delayed the date until July 31. Then they closed indefinitely. Now, a date has been announced for August.

Knoxville theaters have been closed for about 4 months due to the coronavirus stage and in Hollywood.

Christopher Nolan’s highly anticipated mystery “Tenet,” delayed 3 times due to the coronavirus pandemic, has a new limited date for Labor Day weekend.

The Warner Bros. movie. it will open in some cities on September 3, while it will open in 70 countries around the world on August 26, the study announced.

Nolan’s sci-fi mystery starring John David Washington and Robert Pattinson has been delayed three times. It was originally scheduled for release on July 17, then was postponed twice, on July 31 and August 12, before being delayed on July 20.

“We are grateful for the help we have gained from exhibitors and remain true to our commitment to theatrical performance around the world. Unfortunately, the pandemic continues to proliferate, forcing us to think again about our opening dates,” said Toby Emmerich, president of Warner Bros. Records. Paramount Studios has reported two of its films, “A Quiet Place Part II” and “Top Gun: Maverick,” for next year.

Walt Disney Studios has disposed of “Mulan” from its release schedule and has boosted upcoming “Avatar” and “Star Wars” videos a year.

The lack of new versions leaves cinemas with few functions to show if they move to the cinema.

When Regal is able to reopen, there will be large internal adjustments in theaters. The new rules of fitness and protection will come with disinfection of vaporizers, social distance between auditorium seats and reduced menu options.

The company will inspire viewers to use the Regal app to restrict contact within the cinema.
