For his 47th birthday, Ryan treats himself a green with his own green lanterns, a nod to his superhero movie.
It all started with the donation of a urinal, before the aircraft appeared over Wrexham AFC’s STōK Cae Ras football ground. And then, of course, the “It’s McElhenney!” song with, of course, Ryan Reynolds.
Today, on Ryan Reynolds’ 47th birthday, Rob McElhenney submitted proposals to “gift” his friend and AFC Wrexham co-chair a new public park in downtown Wrexham. It will be called “The Ryan Rodney Reynolds Memorial Park. “
In a game of self-improvement, the birthday gifts between the two have become more and more elaborate, streamed on Twitter/X. This year, Rob enlisted the help of a “real superhero,” Hollywood megastar Chris Pratt, to reveal his big surprise.

“This year, my concept comes to a. . . park,” he said in an online video, to which Chris loudly exclaims, “oh!”as he rolled his eyes. Rob continues, “This park is going to be beautiful. “
“There will be open green spaces. Pop-up restaurants. There will be movie screens. There will be real green lanterns. Benches for other seniors to swing on (clip by Rob and Ryan). A statue that obviously doesn’t look like Ryan. Happy Birthday Ryan!
After Rob posted the video on his social media at 1 p. m. On Monday, local history focused on what could be included in the park and how it would be used. The proposed site is the former Hippodrome cinema, which was highly prized before being demolished in 1998.
