Rohingya crisis: development in the world’s refugee camp

Three years ago, a brutal repression through the Burmese army killed thousands and forced a mass exodus across the border into Bangladesh.

More than a million Rohingya now live in the world’s refugee camp in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh.

Every year 20,000 young people are born there. They have little hope of going to Myanmar, where they are denied citizenship and other rights to the fullest.

This is the story of 3-year-old Nayeem, who sees the ocean.
