RTE’s Young Offenders actress Hilary Rose shares hilarious behind the scenes snaps with fellow cast members

Hilary, who plays Mairéad MacSweeney on the show, took to her Instagram to give fans a sneak peak behind the scenes.

Hilary shared some hilarious snaps from the making of The Young Offenders including a photo of herself with a pink tutu around her neck.

She captioned the post: “Here are some behind the scenes photos taken during series 2 and 3 of #theyoungoffenders. Such amazing memories #behindthescenes #moretofollow!”

One fan wrote: “We are loving this!! Hilarious and poignant at the same time. You’re all brilliant! X”

Another commented: “The young offenders is my favourite TV. The plot is perfect and all guys look very beautiful and handsome.”

Meanwhile Gwyn asked: “Love this show, you are all brilliant, is there going to be a 4th series?”

The Young Offenders RTE series first aired back in 2018 and returned for a third series at the end of July.

The popular show has been hailed as “the best thing on telly right now”.

The second episode of the third season was an absolute hit with fans of the show as we saw the boys nearly get caught by Sergeant Healy.

RTE viewers called The Young Offenders “outrageously terrific” following this close encounter with Healy.

Meanwhile The Young Offenders creator Peter Foott has been signed by Disney to write a supernatural comedy for its streaming site.
