Ryan Reynolds has a message for Canadian teenagers who don’t practice social estrangement: don’t kill anyone, especially their mother.

John Horgan, Prime Minister of British Columbia, Canada, asked Reynolds and Seth Rogen of British Columbia to help spread the message to teenagers that the party is not safe for them or those around them. Reynolds, who was born in Vancouver, B.C., responded to Horgan’s call to action with a funny voice message that also highlights the potentially fatal consequences of irresponsible behavior.

“Other young people from British Columbia are partying, which of course is dangerous,” Reynolds said. “They probably don’t know that thousands of people are not only in poor health from coronavirus, but also die from it. And, of course, it’s terrible that it affects our maximum vulnerable.”

Reynolds said British Columbia “is home to some of the coolest seniors on the planet,” its mother and environmental activist David Suzuki.

“My mother, you don’t need to be locked in your apartment all day. He needs to be sailing to Kitsilano Bevery one for an exhausted young man from Abercrombie in his thirties. It’s insatiable,” Reynolds said. “But here’s the problem, I hope the other young people in British Columbia don’t kill my mother or David Suzuki or everyone else. For example, let’s not kill anyone, I think it’s reasonable.”

Reynolds ended the message with a little more humor, even shouting the time he spent through his wife Blake Lively on the “Gossip Girl” screen.

“I like parties. What I like most is being alone in my room with a glass of gin and the first 32 seasons of Gossip Girl, and it’s a party,” Reynolds said. “I threw my shoulder the last time I did that.
