The filmmaker explained that one of the “horrible” scenes from Salaar: Part 1 will get a detail in the sequel.
Salaar Part 1 – Ceasefire, which brought together director Prashanth Neel, Prabhas and Hombale Films, has definitely left an impact at the box office. Earning immense acclaim, the film’s fortunes made its sequel, Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam, one of the most anticipated films. Fans can’t wait to see this epic sequel to the saga. Recently, director Prashanth Neel gave a glimpse at a pivotal scene from the sequel, further fueling the excitement.
Director Prashanth Neel revealed that a seemingly exaggerated scene in Salaar Part 1 – Ceasefire has a deep meaning and is connected to one of the most brilliant moments in Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam. In the scene, Deva picks up a plastic knife and his mother, played by Easwari Rao is horrified when he does it.
The director says, “There’s a scene in Salaar where Deva picks up a knife and she treats it as a horror scene. Is it exaggerated? It is definitely not exaggerated. I mean you’ll have to wait for Part 2 to understand why she does that. It’s also one of the highlights of what I feel is one of the most brilliant scenes in Salaar 2. So, there’s a reason for that.”

Speaking further about the film, he compared it to Salaar’s story with his Kannada film Ugramm, on which it is based and said, “Salaar is not about swords and guns; It is about the moment that pushes best friends (Deva and Varadha) to become enemies. I trust the moment between them, which is why it happens in component two. The drama is not the same as Ugramm. ”
Its reveal has further heightened the anticipation of those eagerly awaiting the continuation of the saga, promising that Shouryaanga Parvam will offer an unprecedented cinematic experience. Salaar is directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Hombale Films. The film stars Prabhas, Shruti Haasan and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead roles.
