Christmas in Devon is not complete without a Santa claus in his cave.

And after a year full of uncertainties and cancelled events, our little ones deserve a moment alone with the expensive old St Nick.

But the question is: Will Santa go southwest when a global pandemic is brewing?And will you bring Mrs. Claus, the elves and one of your other friends from the North Pole?

Fortunately, our festive favorites have already shown that Santa will make one in November and December.

These are some of the caves of Santa and the occasions in Devon that will welcome visitors this Christmas.

Have you tried recreating Tom Hanks’ movie with your enjoyed movies?Well, now you can do it.

A lot of festive surprises await you if you plan to embark on this year’s Polar Express train journey, from dazzling souvenirs of priced tickets to what awaits you at the North Pole.

Before embarking on your holiday trip, you will have the opportunity to explore a Christmas market in search of hot food and trinkets.

Pennywell Farm in Buckfastleigh, South Devon, organizes a two-hour daycare center and the possibility of Santa in his tree-lined cave getting a Christmas present.

You’ll settle in the stable with the animals to see the Christmas story come to life before your eyes.

Festive soft drinks, from hot wine and chopped cakes to Christmas biscuits and coffee, will be served in the farm café after the exhibition and the farm’s puppy and pig areas, such as Noah’s Barn and the tractor village, will be open.

Kents Cavern in Torquay will welcome Santa Claus, his elves and even some of his favorite friends from the North Pole this year.

Dubbed an ‘underground magical adventure’, you’ll spend an hour exploring the caves for a laugh and, in fact, panto-style Christmas games with Santa’s friends, before reuniting the boy.

Each price ticket includes an hour-long walk, a non-public tour to see Santa Claus, his own gift, hot wine and chopped cakes.

You even get an adult round trip price ticket to make a stopover on January 2021.

When: November to Christmas Eve

Warner Bros. will be recreated on a two-and-a-half hour tram ride to Seaton Tramway.

On one of the specially decorated one-floor trams, enjoy a cup of hot chocolate and a delicious snack before talking to Santa himself.

Each passenger will get the first Christmas present, a silver sled hood, before exploring the North Pole’s festive lighting fixtures.

Then, on the way back, enjoy a carol, a laugh for the whole family.

Stuart Line Cruises has been organizing his Sail with Santa cruises for more than 20 years and, on this festive adventure, you’ll sail the Exe River before gathering Santa in his cave on board.

Children will get a hand-picked gift and adults a glass of hot wine and a chopped cake.

Each cruise lasts about an hour and comes with a heated terrace, windows, opportunities to meet the captain and many fun activities for the little ones.

There will be sandwiches, Christmas face paintings, a balloon modeler and even a Punch and Judy show.

More information on the new theme of the 2020 Logo Cave of Wonders will soon be published at House of Marbles in Bovey Tracey, Devon.

In recent years, young people have won a balloon, a badge and a gift from Santa Claus, as well as one for the store, prize contests and more activities were also held for the whole family.

The history-laden past in Torquay will welcome visitors for a Victorian Christmas this year.

Back in 1897, lighting fixtures and decorations will take you to a 12-foot Christmas tree and a special festive hunt.

Santa will arrive at the Bygones Express and you can put him in his cave a week before the big day, to get your own Christmas present.

If you book in advance, you can also attend a special Santa occasion and even have breakfast or lunch with him!
