Stephen Surjik, director of two of the upcoming episodes of Season 2 of The Witcher, showed that the series reappeared through an Instagram post (thank you, Redanian Intelligence). “It’s three minutes less T. On and take off for our race for now in Witcher S2,” reads in the August 12 post. “Everyone is careful, but morale is good. They’re watching [our] new COVID communication system, cutting off close contact between the teams,” says the director, thanking Netflix and the other members of The Witcher’s team.
It turns out that the season shoot has also resumed a little earlier than expected. The ad posted on Twitter earlier this year – in the form of a lovely rhyme in the Pissenlit, no less – indicated that The Witcher’s team would “meet on August 17,” however it turns out he’s back, on August 12.
The resumption of production follows approval by the UK government and fitness agencies of some new protection guidelines, which were implemented this year to help the country’s primary films and “high-end” series restart. Surjik and The Witcher’s manufacturer and showrunner, Lauren S.Hissrich, also posted tweets last week, giving us a review of the arrangements for the sequel to The Witcher Season 2, as you can see below:

It is not known when The Witcher Season 2 will arrive on our screens after the delay, Redanian Intelligence reports that filming will likely continue until 2021. In the meantime, we know that Industrial Light and Magic, the Star Wars effects studio, is running the new series, The Witcher Season 2 won’t have multiple timelines, and will have an ‘intimacy coordinator’, so we know there’s probably a little more action this time.
