As our region faces continuous adjustments due to a developing pandemic, we report stories from others who do so intelligently on the network in an era of uncertainty.

Help us get help!

If the elders move on to the symphony, then the symphony is theirs.

The Santa Barbara Symphony for Senior Wonder Citizens’ Life Center in Santa Barbara.

Members of the Symphony String Quartet made 3 presentations at venues on the Wonder campus over the weekend.

The symphony directed by Nir Kabaretti, music and artistic director of the Symphony.

Socially distant seniors, some even listening from their own patio and balcony.

Functionality is a component of Symphony’s project to continue live music during the pandemic and have secure interaction with the network.

Kathryn Martin, acting executive director of the Santa Barbara Symphony, said: “For 67 years, the Santa Barbara Symphony has brought difficult musical reports to the community. In times of joy and birthday party and in times of tragedy.Moments like those in which we have come in combination and come in combination through music.”

Many older adults who did not have many visitors for the pandemic seemed grateful for the music and fun.

The symphony was also done online.
