Seth Rogen has leaked a film plot in which he has been running for almost a decade.

Comic film pro Seth Rogen recently spoke to The Howard Stern Show about his career and some of the demanding situations of making films. During the interview, the star admitted to creating at least one concept that has blocked so far. He explained to Howard Stern why the assignment had not been like this and how he planned to deal with it.

In the early 2000s, Rogen perfected the character on camera from the funny and friendly slacker in films such as The Virgin of the 40s and Pregnant. He continued to play roles and stretch his acting muscles with more complex stories and characters, his role as Lou in Take This Waltz.

With his impressive acting skills and impeccable comedian timing, Rogen is as dominant in the scenes as he is in the spotlight. He built his production reel to have about a dozen titles, added 25 writing credits to his resume and, as a producer, progressed in nearly 40 projects.

Rogen directed episodes of Black Monday and Preacher, for which he also earned executive manufacturer credits. He has also directed other series, films and short films. The comedian’s genius has written (or co-written) and produced many hits, adding Superbad, Pineapple Express and Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising.

With so many blockbusters to his credit, it’s hard for Rogen to get creatively jammed. But he admitted it to happen.

Rogen has reveled in offering exhibits and videos that draw the crowd, however, in an interview on The Howard Stern Show, the A-lister described a script that is such a hard-to-break cookie.

“We’ve had a concept for a long time about the genre … It’s like alien beings come to Earth and say, “We’re going to check you out. And the planet will live or die depending on how you take care of this check. And we will decide that a human representative is the vanguard of all mankind. “And I’m selected as that person. And that’s the concept,” Rogen laughs. “It’s a smart premise, but about 8 years later, that’s all we have.”

To create a complete narrative, Rogen reflected on the combination of this story with another concept from some other source. But it turns out he’s still waiting for the right artistic fit. Fans will have to remain in a position to see what could expand in the long run with their alien plot.

While some film concepts simply don’t hold back, Rogen once had a concept for a sequel that seemed to be in a position to succeed. Rogen’s film about fumes, Pineapple Express, a critical and advertising success. With positive reviews from critics, widespread fan approval and a healthy cashier’s profit, making a sequel seemed like a no-brainer.

Unfortunately, Pineapple Express 2 killed and never materialized. Takeaway? Sometimes even great concepts don’t see the sweetness of the day in Hollywood.
