The Hindi dub of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo will no longer be released in theaters, Goldmine Telefilms confirms via Manish Shah.
The theatrical release of Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo in Hindi scheduled for this Republic Day, however, Manish Shah of Goldmine Telefilms, which owns the rights to the Hindi dub of the film, has now been cancelled.
The release of the Hindi dub of this 2020 Telugu film was planned to take advantage of Allu Arjun’s recently gained popularity in the Hindi belt after his film Pusha: The Rise became a blockbuster. The big party on January 26, which in the past had two films coming out at the box office, is also empty and may have helped Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo attract audiences.
However, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo is remade in Hindi under the name Shehzada with Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon. The remake is supported by Allu Aravind, who also produced the Original in Telugu and the release of the Hindi dub in theaters before the remake has only severely damaged the Shehzada that is lately in production.
Allu Aravind arrived in Mumbai to meet with Manish Shah in order to save him the publication of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo Hindi and save Shehzada and, after the assembly, they seem to have mutually agreed to block the publication.
A representative of Goldmine Telefilms said: “To the media and the trade, Manish Shah, promoter of Goldmines and the creators of Shehzada, have made the joint decision to withdraw the theatrical release of the Hindi edition of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. The creators of Shehzada are grateful to Manish Shah for accepting the same.
Kartik Aaryan star Shehzada went to the ground at the time of part of 2021 and is not over yet. The film also stars Manish Koirala and Paresh Rawal.
Manish Shah only owns the rights to the Hindi edition of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, but he has also brought the satellite rights to Shehzada according to some reports.
