Sony Pictures Television promotes Keith Le Goy to the president

Sony has chosen Keith Le Goy as president of Sony Pictures Television.

The longtime Sony executive, who joined the company in 1999, will expand his oversight to include all of the studio’s domestic and international production, including the game shows and Game Show Network (GSN), Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE) announced Tuesday. He will continue to report to SPE president and CEO Ravi Ahuja, who took over from former chairman and CEO Tony Vinciquerra at the beginning of 2025.

Le Goy Maximum most recently served as president of distribution at Sony Pictures Television, where he oversaw the studio’s combined television and home entertainment distribution, as well as its marketing division, while also leading SPE’s cable networks in Latin America and Europe.  

“Keith has an outstanding track record at SPE, both in distribution and in the businesses he has managed. He is strategic, growth-oriented and sharp-minded,” Ahuja said in delivering the news. “Equally important, as a closing “My husband in our television business, I’ve noticed firsthand that he’s a fantastic colleague. During his tenure, Le Goy helped pioneer new distribution models, landing key deals for Sony intellectual property such as “Seinfeld,” as well as production deals with Netflix and Disney. During this period, SPE’s virtual home entertainment business achieved its historic 2024 movie profits, and SPE’s entity Crunchyroll achieved 15 million paying subscribers in over two hundred territories.

Le Goy joined Sony in 1999, and before that, he was vice president of European sales for the Walt Disney Company. In 2018, it emerged that Le Goy was sued for sexual harassment in 2014 through a former studio assistant, the lawsuit was later settled. two years later.
