DC Studios co-head Peter Safran took to the level at CinemaCon on Tuesday to present the documentary “Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story,” to give it “the release it deserves. “

Warner Bros. Discovery has acquired worldwide rights to the modern documentary “Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story,” which garnered critical acclaim following its world premiere at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival. The documentary was acquired for $15 million, like TheWrap in the past.
WBD’s DC Studios, Warner Bros. Motion Pictures, HBO, CNN Films and Max have jointly researched the project and will collaborate on the film’s international in their theaters and storefronts.
It will be released in theaters in September.
