Dil Bechara, Sushant Singh Rajput’s newest film, has won immense love from its fans. Within minutes of its release, the film surpassed the list of Indian films ranked in the Internet Movie Database (IMDb).
The film was released on July 24 at Disney Hotstar. So far, Dil Bechara has amassed more than 21,000 votes and is ranked 9.8 out of 10 on IMDb. He now occupies the most sensible place on the list of “Highest Rated Indian Films”, leaving the 2003 film Tamil through Kamal Haasan and Madhavan R, Anbe Sivam.
Sushant died by suicide in his apartment in Bandra, Mumbai, on June 14. Immediately after his death, enthusiasts asked the creators of the film Dil Bechara to release the hashtag #DilBecharaonBigScreen on Twitter. However, it was later published digitally. Soon after, hashtags like #DilBecharaDay began to have style on the microblogging platform.
