This movie is about the life of Daniel Eugene Ruettiger, played by Sean Astin, who dreamed of betting on football at the University of Notre Dame.
Although Rudy possessed great athletic ability, his barriers to learning and his small stature made it difficult for him to get into this prestigious university.
It’s a wonderful story of helplessness, hard work, perseverance, determination, and never giving up on yourself or your dreams.
