“I am absolutely surprised and frustrated that the rooms that are allowed to open, especially anything so superior, applicable and [exciting] and all that, feels very, very poorly prepared and of poor quality,” Packer told Variety.
Other enthusiasts have another attitude of the cinematic experience. Jacob Cakes, who is watching the film at Vue in Scunthorpe, said: “The director of my theater noted that appropriate measures have been taken to do it as much as possible. Number of rows [and] limited seats, cleaning equipment, mask to use, etc. “
Yet the atmosphere is of unbridled emotion. “We’re ahead of “Tenet” because we’re all big Nolan enthusiasts and we can’t wait to feel the thrill of seeing a new movie in theaters again,” fan Chloe Fanning told Variety.
Jacob Chatwin, meanwhile, sees “Tenet” on opening day on one of Cineworld Birmingham’s IMAX screens, an adventure he’s been waiting for since he recorded a preview of the film before “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” last Christmas.
“There is no director like him, ” said Chatwin solemnly. “You just have to watch their videos on the big screen, where they belong.”
