Tess Sanchez, vice president of casting at Fox Entertainment, left the company, Variety found out.

“We are reorganizing our casting branch and have taken the difficult resolution of the position of executive vice president,” a Fox Entertainment spokesman said in a statement. “We thank Tess for her many contributions and wish her the most productive in her long-term efforts.

Brittainy Roberts, lately vice president of casting, will now oversee the department. She’ll report to Michael Thorn, entertainment president of Fox Entertainment.

Sánchez Fist joined Fox Broadcasting in 2009 and was named casting director for the network in 2011, making it one of the youngest executives to lead casting in a broadcast network. She was appointed executive vice president of casting in 2016. During his time on the network, he worked on series such as “Empire”, “Grease Live!” Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Gotham, “The Last Man on Earth,” “Wayward Pines,” “Lucifer” and “The Mindy Project.”

She was director of independent casting before joining Fox, and in the past served as casting director at The WB. While there, he worked on exhibits such as “Felicity”, “Dawson’s Creek”, “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”, “Smallville” and “Supernatural”. She is married to Max Greenfield, former star of the Fox comedy series “New Girl”.
