Do you like a smart witch movie? A little magic, some spells, a broom or two and a cauldron make it a fun and fantastic adventure. Whether smart witches or evil witches, spell-throwers with immense force have the means to captivate film audiences. Therefore, it is not unexpected that two ancient and cheesy cults based on witches are being redesigned for a fashion audience. From witches to Hocus Pocus 2 (see why this movie will look more like a remake than a sequel below), those reboots are in a position to captivate you.
1990’s original The Witches was a fantasy/family film starring Anjelica Huston as the head witch in charge, or as they called her in the movie: The Grand High Witch. When a convention of witches meet to carry out their diabolical plan — of turning all children into mice — a grandmother (Helga) and grandson (Luke) duo must team up to take the witches down once and for all. Yet, Luke is caught spying on the witches, which is how he discovers their plan. And, he must work with his grandma as a talking mouse — sometimes presenting strategic advantages!
The film is dark and Huston offers juicy and unpleasant functionality, a functionality that Anne Hathaway will be tasked with living. The remake of The Witches is lately in post-production and was originally scheduled for release in 2020, however, the long series of film releases remains largely unknown at this time. Robert Zemeckis (Back to the Future, Forrest Gump, Cast Away) will lead. Anna Hathaway, Octavia Spencer, Stanley Tucci, Chris Rock and many others are expected to play.
Here is the hope that the original will pay homage to the original curtains, keeping the dark and mature moments of the film, despite its demographics destined for the family. The mixture of darkness, humor and mockery in the original is what captivated viewers. However, the film will also want a small dose of fresh flavor to suit a trendy audience.
The original Hocus Pocus, which tells the story of 3 resurrected witch sisters from the dead, debuted with a critical condemnation. However, over the years, it has a cult classic, with several Halloweens running to solidify its position in our culture through ABC Family. The 3 witches looking to suck young children: Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy. His chemistry was indisputable, his power contagious and Bette Midler (as always) was hilarious.

Adam Shankman (Hairspray, Rock of Ages) is about to direct the film for Disney, and the original would be interested in coming back! Waiting for the three sisters to retrieve their brooms for Hocus Pocus 2.
Although this film is more of a sequel, after so many years since the original, it will serve as a remake through a new cinematography, and probably a narrative that does not exactly adhere to the conclusion of the first (as such would be a bit lazy). Given Adam Shankman’s familiarity with movie musicals, she can give divine Miss M some shots to sing a spell to the audience as well.
